The LED kit to make your motorbike even cooler
If you've just bought a brand new motorbike, then welcome to our team. You are joining a community of motorbike enthusiasts with a long tradition. Wherever you go in the country, you'll find like-minded riders who will share your excitement.
We recommend the SUZCO motorcycle underglow. They will add style to your bike, while also allowing you to be seen by other drivers on the road. And, as it happens, you can do it from the comfort of your own home.
Before you start, make sure you have everything you need and that everything is in order. Organize your LED strips so that they are easy to access and outline how they will be connected. Your kit should include batteries, LED strips, a fuse box, switches, and spare wiring. Make sure all the parts are there and if your motorcycle light strip kit comes with a wiring diagram, use it rather than figuring it out yourself.
Next, before you start the installation, make sure you know where you want to place the LED strips. Masking tape will temporarily hold them in place without damaging the bike's paintwork. This will help you to know if you need to trim them or move some of them and make the installation easier. Don't forget to orient the strips so that the wires are facing the battery.
Now it's time for the installation. Gather all the wires and insert them into the connector box (or "junction box") so that they are part of a positive and negative lead. If your switch is remote, rather than manual, you will need to connect the relay box between the junction box and the battery. This type of system also comes with its fuse, so no additional installation is required. On the other hand, a manual switch requires a fuse boat connected to the negative lead and a mounting location. We recommend that this is out of sight.
After connecting all the necessary components in order, connect the ring terminals to the positive and negative leads. Remove half an inch of plastic sheathing from each lead to expose the copper and wrap them around the connection point on the ring terminal. Connect the positive lead to the positive terminal of the battery. Ensure that the system is switched off and connect the negative lead to the negative terminal. Test that you have completed all operations correctly by toggling the switch. If some of the LEDs do not light up, check the connections, wiring, lights, and anything that might indicate an incorrect or faulty installation.
Once you are satisfied, use the closing masking tape to give you the option of moving them after installation. Fasten the zip ties and clean up any loose wires so they don't detract from your appearance or performance. This 12v motorcycle underglow light makes for a cool bike with a personal touch, and I think it's great!
